ZidAn installation art project commissioned by the Esplanade theatre Singapore, to fill up the 85-meter tunnel from the City Link MRT to the basement. In conjunction with the annual music event Baybeats, the purpose of the work was to present a visual narrative / sequence of artwork that reflects the spirit of unity through music – hence the title.
Translating the idea into reality demanded versatility to make use of my experience using both real (acrylics, oil, charcoal etc.) and digital media. This was also my ambitious attempt yet which took about 2 months of non-stop work to finish on time. Each piece is 1 x 2′.
